If you are like me, chances are that you are a YouTuber :) . For some of us, we can hardly stay a whole day without visiting one of the highly trafficked site. No wonder it gets over 1 billion page visits every month!
Founded on 14th February, 2005 by a couple of college students who loved sharing videos, YouTube caught the attention of other mighty online giants like Google and in barely a year and a half later (today, October 9th 2006), YouTube was acquired by Google for a whooping $1.65 Billion.
That may have been a huge investment but it is very evidential that the website has really paid off with Google generating part of its revenue from YouTube.
