"Dumsor" Has Gone International!

In case you you didn't know, "Dumsor" , the popular term used in Ghana to mean the unstable nature of electricity in the country, has gone just beyond Ghana. Here are a few of how the "Dumsor"fever has gone viral: 
 
1. As a matter of fact, "Dumsor" has now been indexed by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dumsor" target="_blank">Wikipedia</a>.  
 
2. <a href="https://play.google.com/store/search?q=dumsor&c=apps&hl=en" target="_blank">Google PlayStore </a> has at least four apps bearing the name "Dumsor" and their usage vary from flashlights to time tables.

3. Barclays Bank Ghana has introduced a "Dumsor" loan a.k.a ‘<a href="http://citifmonline.com/2015/04/17/barclays-bank-introduces-dumsor-loan/#sthash.48XYcxCr.dpbs" target="_blank">Power/Generator Loan</a>’ to help its customers get loans to help them sail through the power crises. 
 
4. I even hear there is a "Dumso" community.

Who Will Be The First To Reach The $1 Trillion Value: Google or Apple?

There's been a lot of interest in finding the first [American] company to reach the valuation of $1 trillion (13 figures). However, the race, at the moment, is between Apple Inc. and Google Inc. considering the fact that these companies have shown a lot of zeal and determination to reach the 13-figure mark. 
 
Apple [Computer] Inc. currently has a valuation of $598.73 billion while Google Inc.'s currently valuation is  $364.99 billion.  
 
Irrespective the slight lead by Apple to be the first to fo so, critics and researchers such as BGC's Colin Gillis are very optimistic that Google is quite likely to bypass Apple and continue to be the first ever company to be valued at $1 trillion by 2020 under the condition that Google grows at a 35% rate yearly for the next 5 years.  
 
On the contrary, if Apple is to also grow at a considerable 13.4% every year for the next 5 years, it can also do so. 
 
So considering the expected growth rates, why would researchers still expect Google to get there first? Well, it is quite obvious since Apple's latest innovations seem to face very high competition from from other companies as Samsung, lus, the fact that in 2013, the share value of Apple dropped so fast that so much as the CEO Tim Cook decided to use its cash to buy back as much as $130 billion worth of shares over three years making it the biggest buyback in history. 
 
That notwithstanding, Apple is hopeful of boosting sales and share price / valuation massively this year from the introduction of their Apple Pay and Apple Watch. In fact, investors predict Apple to reach the $1 trillion evaluation by 2018.
